Jittaun 'JT' Priest is a creative visual director and master painter known for transforming walls and artifacts into artwork. With over 19 years of graphic design and decorative painting experience, her work and design knowledge helps clients to create unique and visually appealing experiences that not only manifest a vision, but also culture.

'JT' was born with an artist’s energy coursing through her veins, her hands and her finger tips. Earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Columbia College, in 2003 Jittaun D. Priest launched JDP Design. Later renaming it Brushworks by JT. A talented, decorative painting company that provides both residential and commercial establishments with uniquely custom designed paint techniques & art. JT is widely recognized for her faux finish techniques and beautifully crafted line of contemporary art. She maintains a studio in the heart of Bronzeville and her staff is comprised of a skilled group of decorative artists and muralists.

Brushworks has been showcased in numerous commercial and residential spaces in Chicago and surrounding suburbs such as Sip & Savor Chicago, Ain’t She Sweet Café, Beasley Academic Center, Crazy Crab and hundreds of residential properties. Since conception, her client list has included design firms and developers in Chicago, Michigan, and D.C. areas, as well as, some of today’s most popular entertainers and sports figures across the nation. Such as Val Warner of Windy City Live, Juanita Jordan, celebrity stylist, Nicole Mangrum, George Fuller of Chaka Khan fame Nazr Mohammed of the Chicago Bulls, Israel Idonje of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Alderwoman, Sophia King and Chicago Police Superintendent, Eddie Johnson.
